Wahu fleet on a basketball court
Series A · 2026

Anyone can import bikes. Few can build the operating system underneath them.

Wahu manufactures in Accra, runs a software platform that codifies fleet operations, and holds a sovereign Article 6.2 carbon offtake with Switzerland. We're meeting investors now ahead of a first close in July 2026.

The operating system

One operating system. Three layers.

Hardware on the road. Playbook in the software. Intelligence across both.

01 · Hardware

The vehicles, batteries, and charging that move Africa's last mile.

Designed and assembled in Accra. Built for road conditions, rider economics, and uptime no imported product solves for.

02 · Playbook

The software that runs the fleet.

Onboarding, payments, performance, collections, and path-to-ownership — codified into a system any operator can run, anywhere on the continent.

03 · Intelligence

The data and AI layer that learns from every rider, every kilometer, every payment.

Turning a fleet business into a compounding asset that gets smarter with scale.

The opportunity

The market is moving.

$57T
By 2050 · Global EV

"From the current $7T to $57T by 2050 — and that future depends on Africa." — Akinwumi Adesina, AfDB president

25M
Today · Bikes

Roughly 25M motorbikes on African roads today, against 320M in India — same population. The gap is the opportunity.

22%
By 2030 · EV share

Two-wheelers expected to reach 22% electrification — well ahead of cars or any other category.

30%
Per km · Cheaper

Electric two-wheelers cost ~30% less per kilometer than petrol — and the gap widens as fuel prices rise.
